Toronto, the self-analysing

This Sunday Star piece caught my eye. It was the first time I've noticed a major Toronto institution hint that this city is less than perfect.

In Why do they hate Toronto?, columinst Linda Diebel entertains the idea that Toronto lacks culture and a personality. Hmm, what does everyone else think? Is Toronto rude, snobbish, pretentious, etc? For the record, I think it is (and I'm from Toronto).
