Q. How the @#$% do I get the US(English version) of Google when I'm in Germany.

When you are in Germany and try to go to google.com, you'll be redirected to google.de, with all your search results given in German. This is annoying if you want English results. Soooo...

A. I entered www.google.us and got www.google.com/webhp, google's suggest site without the actual suggest functionality. Go to www.google.com/webhp?complete=1&hl=en to see the real deal. Hmmm, I wonder what else is behind the 'webhp' app/url.

Anybody know more about this?
